Outside of Hawaii, this is the best shave ice I've ever had! Each spoonful perfectly melts in your mouth and the texture is so light and fluffy. We've tried two flavors: the melon/yogurt and the English breakfast tea/milk tea. We liked the latter best, as the yogurt flavor in the former was a bit too tart for our liking (we expected a Yakult-flavored yogurt rather than a Pinkberry-like yogurt). They have some amazing dessert toasts as well. We'll definitely be back!

This restaurant, located on the top floor of Source Mall's south side, is a fantastic spot to cool off during the summer with Korean-style shaved ice. Formerly known as Mealtop, the restaurant has since rebranded, but it continues to serve its beloved shaved ice and breakfast items. What We Ordered: INJEOLMI SHAVED ICE (shaved ice with roasted soybean powder): This popular treat has a nutty, savory flavor that isn't overly sweet, reminiscent of peanut butter. The nutty deliciousness is also found in the injeolmi, making it a must-try. INJEOLMI TOAST: This dish is similar to French toast but topped with injeolmi powder. It's a wonderful complement to the shaved ice, keeping your mouth warm and dry. Overall, our experience was excellent and delightful.

Came here b/c we were Gudetama Cafe rejects-- that wait was going to be over an hour! Took us a bit to find the place--it's located on the THIRD floor, but once we found it and stepped through the doors. It is such a bright and airy space with high ceilings and such a cool vibe. The hubs and I basically ordered the same dish with two small but significant differences (smoked salmon toast)--mine had sliced avocado and his had a poached egg. Ordered the French Toast for the kiddo. I gave one of my toasts to my husband and vice versa. Well, how good was it? Let's just say both my husband and I were in the "Clean Plate Club"! Even my little guy who is a super picky eater, enjoyed his French toast! Didn't even have to dip it in the syrup b/c it was sweetened perfectly! I also ordered an Americano which wasn't bitter in the least... it was actually very aromatic and a little sweet when I first tasted it. My son had the a creamy lemonade... and again, with a picky eater, he enjoyed it! I took a sip and found it refreshing and less tart b/c it was tempered with the cream. A huge win! We didn't get to order the bingsoo for dessert... we were just too full. We will be coming back to order this next time!

I usually get milk bingsoo here, but the Injolmi bingsoo I had today has become my favorite! The sweet condensed milk and soybean powder on top of the fluffy ice melts in my mouth. It's a great place to spend time with friends, with friendly staff and a great atmosphere

New brunch place to try... Breakfast/brunch items to be served only from 10:30am to 1:30pm. It's a quaint little place that's on the 3rd floor of The Source in Buena Park. When you walk in there's music playing softly and you're greeted with a smile and hello. Hubby got the French toast, daughter got the tomato basil ricotta and I got the bacon cheese galette. It was interesting to see sliced if green grapes on the ricotta toast. The whip cream seemed like it is made fresh instead of from a can with the French toast. BUT ALL was delicious. Didn't get to try the bingsu since we were all full after. Will have to go back again next time. DEFINITELY a place to come for a cute laid back breakfast/brunch place. Plus you can walk it off after you finish eating and go shopping for skincare, clothes and anything kpop in the shopping center.

1. The shaved ice was surprisedly light, and it was definitely needed on a hot day! The lattes were also comforting! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes with cute decor! 3. There are indoor and outdoor seatings! 4. The staff were friendly and timely with our order! 5. There is a parking garage nearby! Note: There are two restrooms available! The injeolmi bingsoo tasted very peanut buttery and it wasn't too sweet! Had a great nutty taste to it. I like that each bingsu order gets a side of red bean and mochi. Super cute interior too, highly recommend!

Is this Mealtop or Monday to Sunday?! Actually, according to the barista working the front, it's both. I had a Fivestars reward for a shaved iced, and I came in without even knowing what the flavors were. After looking through the flavors on the menu behind the front counter, I asked about Injeolmi, which was the flavor I was most curious about since I didn't know what it was. After the barista explained it to me, I still wasn't sure what to expect. As a matter of fact, I don't even know how to pronounce it, but I still wanted to try it anyways just for the experience lol. When my order was ready, the barista handed me my takeout bag, and off I went. I looked inside and was amazed at how large the shaved ice was! Good thing I ordered to go instead of for here because as nice as the interior looked, there was absolutely no way I was finishing all that in one sitting! The shaved ice came in a huge bowl while the Injeolmi came in a smaller cup. I'm guessing if I had ordered for here, the Injeolmi would have been poured on top of the shaved ice in a larger container, so I had to be careful in eating the shaved ice with the Injeolmi. Their shaved ice is definitely worth trying, but a flavor like Injeolmi would come down to acquired taste. Native Koreans would certainly like it since it's made out of rice cake, a common staple in Korean cuisine, but something I rarely eat since I'm not a fan of rice cakes in general. I personally got sick of the Injeolmi that I wanted to finish the first half of the shaved ice with that Injeolmi and save the second half for the next day. I placed the shaved ice in my freezer, and needless to say, it was not the same as the day before lol. I had to let it thaw before enjoying the rest with some other syrup I had in my fridge. Not too shabby, but remnants of the Injeolmi from the previous day didn't make it taste better. Monday to Sunday Cafe is located on the third floor of The Source shopping center in Buena Park on the northeast corner of Beach and Orangethorpe. If you see "The Source" perched on top of some structural framework next to the KPOP Center, Monday to Sunday Cafe is the closest business to that. When you're standing on the balcony within that framework, you get such a nice view of Buena Park from up there. I've also seen some teens do (TikTok?) videos of themselves dancing like they're in a KPOP music video there, so it's a nice place to hang with friends regardless of the time of day. Service was decent, and despite my not liking the Injeolmi as much as I wanted to, I think it's deserving of 4 stars since I'd like to return and try something else on their menu. Overall, I recommend Monday to Sunday cafe, especially since they're open from Monday to Sunday! lol

Wonderful brunch cafe with small eats, tea, coffee, and bingsu. It was little pricy but you can tell the food quality is great and very tasty. I ordered avocado toast and a fruit tea as well. The tea was tea tea not boba tea, it was more bitter than I'm used to but the tea had a nice fruity aroma to it. Really appreciate the barley tea station that is set up for guests. The staff is friendly. The cafe is clean and well decorated. I came on a Saturday, it was quite busy and hard to find seating for 3 people.
